Adrian O’Hara is the Director of Safety & Risk Management for Murphy-Hoffman Company, which operates North America’s largest network of Kenworth truck dealerships and a large network of truck lease and rental locations.
Adrian has served in his position for six years and during this time MHC has seen a 48% reduction in the Total OSHA Incident Rate and achieved an experience-modifier as low as .60. MHC operates approximately 750 light duty pick-up trucks and medium duty service trucks. In 2013 MHC developed a partnership with Lytx and has been a heavy user of the DriveCam program since. Through the use of the DriveCam program, MHC has identified that 80% of all on-roadway collisions are the fault of a third party. Furthermore, MHC has achieved a sustained reduction of their on-roadway preventable collision rate by more than 75%.
In 2015, Adrian was a featured speaker at the Lytx User Group Conference and has moderated a panel on the rise of video telematics and best practices in the implementation of these programs. Adrian O’Hara holds his Associates in Risk Management designation and has been in the safety and risk management field for a total of 12 years. He graduated from Benedictine College in Atchison, KS. Adrian is an avid reader and runner and resides in Lenexa, KS just outside of Kansas City.
