David M. Chou is a partner of Nakamoto | Chou LLP with over 14 years of Workers’ Compensation experience.
David immigrated to the United States from Taiwan at the age of 11. He graduated from University of California, San Diego in 1994 with a bachelor degree in Cell Biology. He went on to work in bio-tech research at the Salk Institute in San Diego.
David then served in the United States Army for two years as an operating room technician at Walter Reid Army Hospital.
After his service, he earned his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School in 2001. During law school, David interned at various law firms focusing on intellectual property matters, including medical patent litigation as well trademark prosecution.
David entered the field of Workers’ Compensation in 2003 and joined a statewide defense firm serving primarily Southern California WCAB boards.
David’s background in medical science has enhanced his ability to process and organize complex medical and legal concepts. His insight and experience have led to major success in litigation, as well as solid client loyalty. David lives in North Orange County with his wife and two sons.
