Elmer Johnson retired from the United States Marine Corps after 20 years of service in 1995. In 1995, he became a bus driver until 1999 and joined the Nevada Highway Patrol. Elmer spent over four years as a motor officer in Las Vegas, NV. In 2004, he joined the Commercial section (DOT). After completing all the training, he became the JOP (Judges Outreach Program) and Industrial Trainer. In 2005, he became an instructor for the National Training Center training Inspectors until his retirement in 2014. In 2015, Elmer was hired as the Safety Director for a Tour Coach Company in Las Vegas until most recently.
