Jim Nardozzi is the South Region Vice President at SWS Environmental Services. He has 34 years of on-site experience in the hazardous materials, environmental engineering, remediation and construction services industry and has managed more than 1,000 hazardous waste projects in more than 25 states. His training has included compliance with all site-specific quality control and health and safety programs.
Jim has served as Program Manager for numerous emergency response, demolition, and restoration projects. He has served as Project Manager on numerous complex projects involving innovative technology evaluation, performance-based contracts, and multi-agency jurisdictional oversight. His areas of expertise include emergency response, hazardous waste management, remediation, regulatory negotiations, design/build/operate, and innovative technology selection. He has also managed numerous marine and land-based projects from the site assessment phase to cost-effective closure.
As an environmental industry leader, Jim has completed the following training and certifications: OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 40-Hour HAZWOPER Training, OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 8-Hour Supervisory Training, OSHA 29 CFR 1910.146 Confined Space Entry Training, Supervisor Substance Abuse Awareness Training, CSX Transportation Railroad Training and Certification, Massachusetts Firefighting Academy – Hazardous Materials ER Training, and First Aid and CPR. He attended Norwich University, Military Academy.
