Martha M. Wik, CHMM has spent over 25 years in environmental, health and safety. Her career has been well rounded, having spent 12 years in the municipal and government side where she ran a pretreatment program and worked for the state in enforcement and compliance, 12 years on the industrial side and time on the consulting side. Some of the environmental programs she worked on in the industrial world including Wastewater and Stormwater management, hazardous materials management, toxic use reduction, air emissions, developed a management system for flammable storage and disposal of ethanol based flavorings, and managed to take one plant to 0% waste to landfill. Safety programs that she was involved with included 2 major construction and building consolidation projects, implementation of a compliant lock out tag out program, ergonomics for batching, forklift safety and others. Martha has a BA in Biology from Regis College.
