Mike Raub holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas, as well as a Master of Science degree in exercise physiology and a Bachelor of Science in education from the University of Arkansas – Fayetteville. He also earned an advanced graduate studies certificate in dispute resolution from Southern Methodist University. Early in his career, Mr. Raub had direct patient care responsibility in a cardiac rehabilitation and hospital-based wellness setting. Additionally, he conducted numerous functional capacity evaluations and directed work reconditioning while with HealthSouth Rehabilitation in Little Rock, Arkansas. For approximately 15 years, Mr. Raub was deeply involved in the development and management of employment testing programs including the selection and training of clinical test sites and in the defense of legal challenges to employment testing decisions.
He joined BTE in September of 2006 and serves as Director of Business Development where he has worked with a wide range of employers including those in the oil & gas industry, railroads, airlines, healthcare and distribution. During this time, Mr. Raub has presented on the topics of Physical Demands Analysis, Post Offer Employment Testing, Fitness-for-Duty testing and Functional Capacity Evaluations to groups including the American Short Line & Regional Railroad Association, The Direct Delivery Leadership Council, the STEPS of PA and the Fleet Solutions Group of Marsh USA.
