Roxanne Case’s practice primarily involves workers’ compensation defense, including the handling of all matters before the Mississippi Workers’ Compensation Commission, as well as workers’ compensation opinions, appellate work, and also general insurance defense.
Roxanne is currently serving as Past Chair of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Mississippi Bar. She has been selected to serve as a statewide mediator in a program administered by the Administrative Law Section of The Mississippi Bar and Mississippi Workers’ Compensation Commission. She serves on the steering committee for the Mississippi Workers’ Compensation Educational Association. She also serves on the MWCEA Kids Chance Committee.
In 2015, Roxanne was named to the Women Leaders in Law which was featured in Fortune’s Most Powerful Women in Business according to Martindale Hubbell. In addition, she was selected as a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America in 2015. She has been selected as a Mid-South Super Lawyer since 2013 and by Best Lawyers in America since 2014 for litigation and workers’ compensation for employers. Roxanne was also named one of the “Top 50 Women Mid-South Super Lawyers” in 2014. Roxanne was selected from as a Mid-South Rising Star by Super Lawyers magazine from 2010-2012. In 2011, Roxanne was named to the Mississippi Business Journal’s “Top 40 Under 40”. Additionally in 2011, Roxanne was named among the Mississippi Business Journal’s Top Ten “Leaders in Law” Lawyer of the Year from Mississippi’s top 50 lawyers.
Roxanne received her Bachelor of Engineering degree from Mississippi State University in 1994. Following her undergraduate career, Roxanne attended Mississippi College School of Law as a Herrin-Hess Scholar for three years earning her J.D. in 1997.
