Ms. Whidden is known for identifying and creating solutions for insurers. Stacey discovered through her close relations with payers that they were not capturing and managing nontraditional medical services. Stacey founded the first national transportation and translation company (Access on Time) specializing in Workers’ Compensation in 1997. After her discovery of transportation, she identified that no insurer could capture dental claims or provide dentists to injured workers. She founded the first national dental network and dental care management company (Express Dental Care) in 2002. She later added specialty physicians after learning nontraditional physicians typically would not accept Workers’ Compensation patients. All these niche services provided a solution for insurers and injured workers and is now a billion-dollar industry.
In 2011, Ms. Whidden founded Workers Addiction Management (WAM), which is now (EZ Behavioral Health Care) and she is the current Founder and CEO. This was the first national behavioral health company specializing in CBT, detox, pain management, and opiate withdrawal oversight. Ms. Whidden identified that opioids were becoming a problem for insurers. She saw the need to assist injured workers and insurers with safely tapering off opioids as well providing alternatives to pain instead of medication management to both new and old injuries. Opioids are now in the headlines as an epidemic.
Ms. Whidden is the current Founder and CEO of EZ Dental Care (nationwide referral management services for dental trauma claims) and EZ Health Care (formerly Workers Health Solutions Inc.) which provides nationwide Home Health, DME, & Home Modification services.
