He served as special litigation counsel to the Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee of American Business Financial Services, Inc. Mr. Scott joined Energi in 2007 as the leader of Marketing and Industry Relations and now serves as the Senior Vice President of Industry Relations of eRisk Solutions.  He had been an owner and officer of Scott Energy Co., Inc., a retail Home Heating Oil Company in Massachusetts since 1975. Mr. Scott has been active in various oil industry associations for many years. He is the past chairman of the Massachusetts Energy Marketers Association, where he was also a member of their executive, nominating and legislative committees. Additionally, Mr. Scott is a board member of the New England Fuel Institute where he was secretary of the organization and served on the executive, finance, nominating and legislative committees. A founder and current board member of the National Oilheat Research Alliance, Mr. Scott has also been a board member and past chairman of the East Coast Energy Council. He also served on the board of the Massachusetts Trade Self Insurance Group which is a workmen’s compensation self-insurance group. Mr. Scott is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross.
